NLAD Employment Services seeks to ensure that deaf clients have full access to career and employment services which enables them to seek, obtain and keep employment.

Job Searching


Many deaf job seekers encounter unique challenges when looking for work. We can assist you in facing these challenges. We can show you how to effectively research careers, find job leads, improve your resume and much more.



Supports


Do you need access to a TTY or require special arrangements in order to effectively do your job? We can help you and your employer find accommodations, assisted technology or communication devices. We can also help improve communication with your co-workers.


Resources


It can be difficult for a Deaf person to seek employment resources or obtain help. We have many resources available to you such as books, computers and TTY's. We can also assist in translating emails, letters, or forms.


Issues


Having problems with your employer? Having issues communicating with your co-workers? We can provide assistance towards solving some of these problems by looking at different options and/or communicating with your employer.
