Labour Market Partnership Project
Human Resources and Social Development Canada approved funding under the Labour Market Partnerships Program that will enable the NLAD to research and develop An Employability Strategy for Deaf People within the Northeast Avalon Region.
An Employability Strategy for Deaf People will involve the identification of the Human Resource Requirements of Public and Private Sector Employers which will enable persons who are Deaf within the Northeast Avalon Region to become more aware of Employment Opportunities. It will also identify the Issues and Challenges associated with employing persons who are Deaf as perceived by Public and Private Sector Employers.
