Family Communication Program



ASL Consultant: Jennifer Rimmer



The Family Communication Program supports family communication for families with Deaf family members by teaching American Sign Language (ASL) and provides information about the Deaf community and Deaf culture.


As a part of this program, families will:


*Enrich their ASL skills

*Learn ASL in the comfort of their home

*Have fun learning ASL with their family and friends

*Improve communication with their Deaf family members

*Receive ASL instruction from native Deaf instructors

*Obtain individualized ASL learning plans to meet their ASL language learning needs


In-Home Sessions:


*Weekly Sessions (Frequency and duration determined based on assessment)

*Includes family members and friends

*Learn in the comfort of your own home

*Unique learning plan for your family

*Learn with a qualified Deaf instructor.
